Dewatering promoter composition for wet sludge

Abstract

To provide a dewatering accelerator composition having excellent stability for a water-containing sludge, capable of efficiently manufacturing a sludge concentrate with small water content from a water-containing sludge and exhibiting uniform appearance.SOLUTION: A dewatering accelerator composition for a water-containing sludge contains (A) a nonionic surfactant, (B) a copolymer of a monomer represented by a general formula (B1) and an olefin having a carbon number of 4 or over and 8 or under or a salt thereof, and (C) a (poly)ethylene glycol mono alkyl ether bearing an alkyl group having a carbon number of 2 or over and 6 or under. In the formula (B1), R1, R2, and R3 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or (CH2)mCOOM2; the (CH2)mCOOM2 may form an anhydride with COOM1 or other (CH2)mCOOM2, in such a case, M1 and M2 of these groups do not exist; M1 and M2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal, an ammonium group, an alkylammonium group, or a substituted alkylammonium group; m is a number of 0 or over and 2 or under.SELECTED DRAWING: None
