Abstract

To provide a coil component that has a high degree of freedom in setting external electrodes and can suppress an increase in DC resistance.SOLUTION: A coil component includes an element body 2 containing a magnetic material, a coil conductor 3 buried in the element body, connection conductors 5a and 5b provided in the element body, lead-out conductors 4a and 4b that connect the coil conductor and the connection conductor, and an external electrode provided on the bottom of the element body, and the coil conductor 3 is electrically connected to an external electrode via a connection conductor and a lead-out conductor, the connection conductor extends in either direction from the joint with the lead-out conductor, and the width of the connection conductors 5a, 5b is larger than the width of the coil conductor 3 when viewed from the extending direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
