Abstract

To suppress high-rate deterioration and reduce performance deterioration of a battery unit.SOLUTION: A control device of a battery unit 2 is mounted, as a driving power source, in a vehicle 1. The control device includes: a high-rate charge / discharge prediction section 10d which predicts high-rate charge and high-rate discharge during driving of the vehicle 1; and a charge / discharge state change section 10e which changes a charge / discharge state of the battery unit 2 on the basis of the prediction. The charge / discharge state change section 10e executes counter charge processing for enhancing electric power and temporarily performing charge when the high-rate discharge is predicted, and executes counter discharge processing for enhancing the electric power and temporarily performing discharge when the high-rate charge is predicted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
