Abstract

A battery module according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked, a module frame that houses the battery cell stack, and end plates that cover front and rear surfaces of the battery cell stack exposed from the module frame, the end plates including a front end plate and a rear end plate, first and second venting holes formed in the front end plate and the rear end plate, a venting plate formed in the rear end plate to be connected to the second venting hole, and a duct member formed on an upper portion of the module frame to be connected to the venting plate, the duct member extending in a longitudinal direction of the upper portion of the module frame and connected to the front end plate.
