COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND DELAY COMPENSATION METHOD

Abstract

To provide a communication system and a delay correction method, each enabling delay to be corrected by simple configuration and at low cost.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises: a first communication unit that communicates with a radio base station; a second communication unit that performs wired communicates with the first communication, and transmits a radio communication signal to a space; a communication cable that connects between the first communication unit and the second communication unit; a signal transmission unit that transmits a delay measurement signal to a communication path formed by the first communication unit, the communication cable, and the second communication unit; a delay measurement unit that measures a delay amount of the delay measurement signal on the communication path for each of the first communication unit and the second communication unit; a delay control unit that determines a delay correction amount for each of the first communication unit and the second communication unit on the basis of the measurement results of the delay amount; and a delay correction unit that sets the delay correction amount for each of the first communication unit and the second communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
