Abstract

To provide a resistance type humidity sensor that does not require an external component for characteristic adjustment.SOLUTION: A resistance type humidity sensor comprises: a columnar insulation base body 3; a pair of cap-shaped terminals 7, 7 fitted and fixed to both ends of the columnar insulation base body 3; a resistance film 5 formed on a surface of the columnar insulation base body 3 and electrically connected to the pair of cap-shaped terminals 7, 7; a slit 11 formed in the resistance film 5 to divide the resistance film 5 into two; and a humidity sensitive film 13 which is provided to close the slit 11, and varies in resistance value with humidity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
