Abstract

To provide an air conditioner capable of suppressing running cost while securing reliability of the device.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, a first compressor which drives by a gas engine and a second compressor which drives by an electric motor are connected in parallel, and air conditioning is performed by circulating a refrigerant. The air conditioner includes: a communication part for performing communication with an external host control device; and an air conditioning control part for controlling the first compressor and the second compressor. The air conditioning control part has a host operation mode for executing output of the first compressor and the second compressor on the basis of, operation instruction from the host control device received via the communication part, and a local operation mode for determining the output of the first compressor and the second compressor irrespective of the operation instruction from the host control device and executing the output, and at the start of air conditioning, after starting as the local operation mode, the mode is shifted to the host operation mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
