Battery pack and battery assembly

Abstract

To provide a battery pack and a battery assembly that can alleviate increase of a pressure inside a case during thermal runaway of battery cells.SOLUTION: A battery pack 10 comprises: a cell laminate 30 in which a plurality of battery cells 40 each having a safety valve 44 is laminated; an exhaust duct 46 that connects the safety valves 44 with each other and extends in the lamination direction of the plurality of battery cells 40; and a case 20 in which the cell laminate 30 and the exhaust duct 46 are accommodated. The case 20 is provided with: a pressure release valve 13 that communicates with the exhaust duct 46 and an open space on the outside of the case 20, and can exhaust the gas discharged from the safety valves 44 of the battery cells 40 to the open space; and a check valve 15 that communicates with a sealed space on the outside of the case 20, and can exhaust the gas to the sealed space.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
