To control a terminal used in a self-registration system so that children are interested in operating the terminal.SOLUTION: Linking means puts a terminal control device and a terminal in a linking state. Display control means displays a list of articles to be purchased on a display device of the terminal. Selection means selects one article from the list upon receiving input from an input device of the terminal.
