Abstract
People with posture problems commonly use wheelchairs. A problem is that spending long periods of time in a wheelchair can result in pressure on certain parts of the body. The present invention discloses a seat with a cushion. The cushion has a number of pads and a flexible bag that contains a liquid. The cushion is such that when a human user puts weight on the cushion, the liquid promotes the movement of the pads relative to each other to shape the cushion.
