Abstract
The present invention provides a biomarker for predicting response to checkpoint inhibitors. The inventors demonstrate that PD-1 / PD-L1 inhibitors exert antitumor activity against tumors with low levels of PD-L1 expression and an immune desert phenotype by blocking PD-L1 in lymph nodes. The present invention provides a novel combination of an intratumoral marker for antigen cross-presenting cells and a T cell chemokine, which is expected to be a superior efficacy predictive biomarker compared to existing methods.
