AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Injection molding machines experience noise emissions and interference from long three-phase AC power lines connecting servo amplifiers and motors, affecting motor performance.

Method used

The injection molding machine design includes servo amplifiers positioned proximal to the motors on movable members, reducing the length of three-phase AC power lines and incorporating capacitors to stabilize DC voltage, thereby minimizing noise and improving motor control.

Benefits of technology

This configuration significantly reduces noise and power loss, enhances motor control accuracy, and simplifies equipment layout by decentralizing servo amplifiers, reducing wire breakage risks and eliminating the need for additional cooling mechanisms.

Abstract

To improve noise immunity of an injection molding machine.SOLUTION: An injection molding machine 100 includes: a bed 3; and a movable side member 5 fixed to the bed 3 that is driven by a motor to perform injection molding of a molded product. A power feeder 4 converts 3-phase AC voltage to DC voltage. Servo motors M1 to M3 are installed in the movable side member 5 to drive the movable side member 5. Servo amplifiers A1 to A3 are provided in the movable side member 5 and drive the servo motors M1 to M3 when DC voltage is supplied via a DC power supply line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
