Abstract

To provide a power generation system capable of appropriately changing a predetermined stop date, on which operation of a fuel cell section is stopped, and capable of utilizing the fuel cell section as an emergency power source even if a power failure occurs in a power system.SOLUTION: A control unit 3 of a management device 4 and a power generation device 2 is configured to freely execute predetermined stop date change processing for changing a predetermined stop date when it is determined that it is necessary to change the predetermined stop date in a mode where information is communicated between the management device 4 and the power generation device 2. In a case where the predetermined stop date is changed, the control unit 3 executes post-change operation stop processing for stopping operation of a fuel cell section on the changed predetermined stop date. A power generation system comprises a communication system switching section 33 for switching a communication system to a second communication system so as to communicate information between the power generation device 2 and the management device 4 via a second communication section 24 during a communication period for change and for switching the communication system to a first communication system so as to communicate information between the power generation device 2 and the management device 4 via a first communication section 23 not during the communication period for change.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
