Abstract

Provided are a coating composition for producing a coating film having a lubricating surface by coating, a production method thereof, a production method of a coating film using the same, a lubricating article kit using the same, and a washer fluid. A coating composition containing particles, a binder resin that adheres the particles to each other, a lubricating liquid that shows incompatibility with a target liquid and affinity with the binder resin, and a solvent that shows affinity with the lubricating liquid, wherein: when the lubricating liquid is dropped on a substrate made of the same material as the particles in the atmosphere, the contact angle is 0°; when the lubricating liquid is dropped on a substrate made of the same material as the particles in the target liquid, the contact angle is 0°; the volume ratio of the lubricating liquid to the total amount of the solvent and the lubricating liquid ranges from 0.09 to 0.95 inclusive; and the content of the binder resin relative to the total amount of the solvent and the lubricating liquid ranges from 0.0004 g / mL to 0.05 g / mL inclusive.
