AI Technical Summary
Technical Problem
Existing aerosol generating devices lack a mechanism to reboot the controller only when necessary, leading to potential inefficiencies and unnecessary power consumption.
Method used
A power supply unit with a restart circuit that reboots the controller only when a predetermined condition, such as the removal of a surface member, is satisfied, ensuring controlled power supply to the heater.
Benefits of technology
Enables controlled and efficient rebooting of the controller, reducing unnecessary power consumption and improving device performance.

Abstract
To provide a power supply unit of an aerosol generation device which can achieve enhanced functionality.SOLUTION: An aspirator includes: a heater connector to which a heater for consuming electric power supplied from a power source and heating a rod is connected; a MCU 1 configured to control supply of electric power from the power source to the heater and including a power source terminal VDD; a switch driver 7 capable of restarting the MCU1; and a FF 16 including a power source terminal VCC. The electric source terminal VDD of the MCC 1 can be supplied with a system power source voltage Vcc 2 generated from the power source. The power source terminal VCC of the FF 16 is supplied with a system power source voltage Vcc 1 generated from the power source while the MCU 1 is restarted by a switch driver 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 21
