Abstract

To provide an air purifier that solves the problem of heat generated when a semiconductor element is used as a light source. The air purifier (1) is characterized in that it comprises a plurality of ultraviolet light-emitting elements (2) that emit ultraviolet light of a wavelength that can inactivate viruses, a base part (3) having the ultraviolet light-emitting elements (2) on its outer surface, an air flow path (7) having an air inlet (5) and outlet (6) and through which the air that enters through the inlet (5) is irradiated with ultraviolet light before it leaves through the outlet (6), a reflective surface (8) formed on the inner surface of the air flow path (7) that reflects ultraviolet light, and a baffle part (10) that is provided in the air flow path (7) and causes the air flowing through the air flow path (7) to meander, and the base part (3) has a heat pipe part (11) that releases heat from the ultraviolet light-emitting elements (2) to the outside of the air purifier (1).
