Abstract
To provide a molten glass, e.g., decreased in the softening temperature, and in addition improved in dielectric properties of the glass such as the dielectric constant, the thermal and / or temporal stability thereof, and generally the stability of the glass against environmental influences, in particular against moisture and / or temperature fluctuations.SOLUTION: A molten glass includes SiO2 and Al2O3 of 2 wt.% or less, is free of PbO except for unavoidable impurities, and has a coefficient of linear thermal expansion α20-300 of more than 10×10-6 / K. Advantageously, the molten glass has a dielectric constant εr from at least 7.10 up to 7.80 as measured at a measurement frequency of 1 MHz and a temperature of 25°C advantageously, and advantageously a glass transition temperature Tg of 400 to 550°C, preferably 450 to 500°C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
