Abstract
Provided is a music playback device comprising: a music playback unit that plays back a musical work containing a plurality of phonetically separable parts; a cue point setting unit that sets, according to an operation by a user, the position of a cue point in the musical work and a part to be played back from the cue point from among the plurality of parts as cue point information; a playback position control unit that causes the musical work to be played back from the cue point according to an operation by the user and the cue point information; and a playback part control unit that causes only some part(s) among the plurality of parts to be played back when the musical work is played back from the cue point according to the cue point information.
