Abstract

To provide a hinge cap configured so that when lifting up an upper lid of the hinge cap, starting of breakage of a thin-wall weakened part is accelerated by concentrating stress on the opposite side of a hinge of the thin-wall weakened part, successively the breakage of the thin-wall weakened part is progressed and a lid opening part can transfer from a cap main body side to the upper lid side.SOLUTION: The hinge cap is constituted of a cap main body, a hinge and an upper lid. The cap main body comprises an attachment part to be attached to a mouth part of the container and a pour-out part connected to inside of the attachment part. The pour-out part comprises: a pour-out tube erected inside the attachment part; a bulkhead connected to an inner periphery of the pour-out tube; a plug-opening part, defined by a breakable thin-wall weakened part in the bulkhead, which becomes an opening scheduled part; a pull-up wall erected at the opposite side of the hinge of the plug-opening part; and a reinforcement rib formed at the hinge side of the pull-up wall. The upper lid comprises a top wall, and an engagement wall, hung down from a lower surface of the top wall, which can engage with the hinge of the pull-up wall, at the opposite side thereof, when closing the lid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
