Abstract

The present invention relates to a positive electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery, the positive electrode comprising two types of sulfur-carbon composites as positive electrode active materials. The positive electrode according to the present invention comprises two types of carbon materials having different specific surface areas and pore volumes, and thus the secondary battery to which the positive electrode is applied has a reduced initial irreversible capacity and improved output and life characteristics.
