Abstract

To provide a self-lock-type hollow shaft holding mechanism.SOLUTION: A holding device 1 comprises: a collet 10 having a first outer projection 103 for engagement with an inner recess 25 in an inner peripheral surface region of a component 2 to be held and a second outer projection 104 for engagement with an inner recess 36 in an inner peripheral surface region of a holding recess 3, at least one of the first outer projection 103 and / or the second outer projection 104 including a first outer taper 1031 and / or a second outer taper 1041 in order to axially pull the component 2 to be held through radial outer motion of the collet 10 or one section of the collet 10 in the holding recess 3; and a motion stud 13 including the collet 10 and sections 131 and 132 with outer tapers for executing the radial outer motion of the collet 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
