Abstract
To provide an image processing device which can restrict the use of the device and facilitate management thereof.SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises: connection means to which an external device can be attached; setting means which sets a function restriction due to the presence / absence of attachment of a dongle; control means which restricts execution of a function related to image processing when the dongle is not attached in a case where the function restriction is set; and registration means which registers the external device that can be attached to the connection means as the dongle. The registration means performs registration processing so as not to register a new external device as the dongle in a case where the dongle has been already registered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
