Abstract

To provide an electrode assembly in which the deformation of a mode of a pouch can be minimized in a gas exhaust process or at a progress of charging and discharging, and a secondary battery including such an electrode assembly.SOLUTION: An electrode assembly in an example of the present invention includes an assembly in which a first electrode, a separation film overlapping with the first electrode, and a second electrode overlapping with the separation film are stacked alternately, and a shape keeping member that is formed at one side of the assembly where end parts of the first electrode, the separation film, and the second electrode are exposed. The shape keeping member exists at a certain distance from both side surfaces of the assembly on both sides with the shape keeping member at a center.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
