Abstract

To enhance notification to users of wearable medical devices.SOLUTION: A medical device for a user includes: an RF circuit; a memory device; and a processing device that is connected to the RF circuit and the memory device, detects a specified notification state in the medical device, generates a notification request in response to it, and wirelessly transmits the notification request to a second device via the RF circuit so as to prompt the second device to cause an indicator apart from the medical device to operate. The second device is wirelessly paired with the medical device, has an indicator, and is paired with a third device. The medical device is connected to the third device via the second device. The third device includes an indicator. The processing device and the RF circuit uses a wireless communication protocol to exchange an RF signal through the RF circuit with the second and / or third device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
