Abstract
In a travel information generation device (10), an intention estimation unit (15) detects lane change of a host vehicle (100) from travel lane information relating to the host vehicle (100), and estimates, on the basis of peripheral information or vehicle state information relating to the host vehicle (100), whether or not the intention of the lane change is an intention to smoothly drive the host vehicle (100). A lane change information generation unit (16) generates, as information on the lane change performed by the host vehicle (100), lane change information including a position of the lane change, lanes before and after the lane change, and a result of estimating the intention of the lane change.
