Abstract

To have a redox flow battery cell perform charging and discharging efficiently by suppressing the variation of ion concentration within an electrode.SOLUTION: The redox flow battery cell includes an electrode plate having a diaphragm and a recess in which a surface on the side provided with the recess is bonded to one surface of the diaphragm and a space is formed in which an electrolyte flows between a recess bottom and the diaphragm and an electrode formed of a porous material and arranged at a portion of the recess bottom in the space. An inlet for making the electrolyte flow into the space is formed on the electrode plate at a position on the recess bottom which is not overlapped with the electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
