Abstract

Provided is a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet that has a high biomass content and good printability. [Solution] A thermal transfer image receiving sheet is provided which comprises a paper base material, an insulating layer, and a receiving layer in that order in the thickness direction, wherein the thermal transfer image receiving sheet has a biomass content of 75% or more, the thickness of the paper base material is 60 μm or more and 300 μm or less, and the insulating layer contains at least one resin selected from the group consisting of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, polyvinyl chloride, chlorinated polypropylene, and polypropylene.
