Abstract

The present invention provides a vehicle dispatch management device that manages on-demand vehicle dispatch services for a plurality of vehicles. This device comprises: a vehicle dispatch request acquisition unit that acquires a vehicle dispatch request indicating a transportation object from a terminal device of a user; a vehicle dispatch plan creation unit that creates a vehicle dispatch plan for a candidate vehicle extracted from the plurality of vehicles on the basis of the acquired vehicle dispatch request and confirms the vehicle dispatch plan for the candidate vehicle according to an approval notification transmitted from the terminal device; and a vehicle dispatch instruction unit that transmits, to the vehicle, a vehicle dispatch instruction based on the confirmed vehicle dispatch plan. The vehicle dispatch plan creation unit is provided with a candidate vehicle selection unit that selects the candidate vehicle depending on the transportation object indicated by the vehicle dispatch request. The candidate vehicle selection unit designates an empty transportation space of the candidate vehicle that was previously transporting a transportation object having the same attributes as the transportation object indicated by the vehicle dispatch request.
