To provide a calculation assistance system which improves the convenience for a user who performs a calculation using a calculation terminal.SOLUTION: When a user operates a key of a scientific calculator (calculation terminal) 10F to input a calculation formula for calculation, the input calculation formula is sequentially transmitted to a smartphone (calculation assistance terminal) 20. The smartphone 20 determines whether the received calculation formula can be displayed as a graph according to whether the composition of the formula matches the composition of various graph formulae (formulae) which can be displayed as a graph, and displays, when the calculation formula can be displayed as a graph, a graph screen Gg of a graph g1 corresponding to the calculation formula, as calculation assistance information.
