Abstract

The technology disclosed herein relates to a pressure vessel system, according to the present invention. The pressure vessel system includes a plurality of pressure vessels (100) for storing fuel and at least one load-distributing lower layer (720). The load-distributing lower layer (720) is advantageously disposed between a lower bottom plate (700) and the plurality of pressure vessels (100). The load-distributing lower layer (720) is configured to distribute a force F acting locally on the lower bottom plate (700), the force F acting on the lower bottom plate (700) substantially in the direction of the vehicle vertical axis Z, to the plurality of pressure vessels (100).
