To provide a protector which can improve workability in connecting a connector, connected to a flexible printed board, to a mating connector.SOLUTION: A protector 1 comprises: a first passage part 10 extending in a first direction X; and a second passage part 20 extending in a second direction Y perpendicular to the first direction. The second direction is a fitting direction where a connector connected to a flexible printed board is fitted to a mating connector. The first passage part has: a bottom wall 11; and lateral walls 14 disposed on both sides in a width direction of the bottom wall. The bottom wall has a tip end part 13b which is an end on the second passage part side. The first passage part has a slit which extends between the bottom wall and the lateral walls such that the tip end part may be swingable in the second direction.
