Abstract
To provide a sanitary washing device capable of efficiently emitting sterilizing light.SOLUTION: A sanitary washing device comprises: a private part washing nozzle that has a water discharge port for discharging washing water toward a private part of a user; a casing that has a nozzle accommodating part capable of accommodating the private part washing nozzle with the private part washing nozzle retracted; an illumination part that radiates sterilizing light having a sterilizing effect into the nozzle accommodating part; a human body detection sensor that detects a human body; and a control part that controls the illumination part based on detection information from the human body detection sensor, wherein the control part measures a cumulative radiation count of the illumination part radiating the sterilizing light within a sectional period in which one day is divided into a plurality of sections, and radiation of the sterilizing light during the sectional period is stopped when the cumulative radiation count exceeds a radiation threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
