AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing sensor modules with multiple physical quantity sensors face challenges in maintaining precise relative positions, leading to decreased detection accuracy due to deviations from design values.

Method used

The inertial force sensor employs a configuration with blocks having inclined surfaces, connected by a connecting body, and arranged in specific directions to ensure precise relative positioning of uniaxial inertial force sensors, allowing for high-precision detection of three-axis angular velocity.

Benefits of technology

The sensor achieves high-precision detection of three-axis angular velocity by accurately positioning each sensor according to design values, reducing the influence of surface accuracy variations and enhancing overall detection accuracy.

Abstract

To provide an inertial force sensor improved in detection accuracy.SOLUTION: The inertial force sensor comprises: a pedestal; a first block having an inclined plane that is inclined to a surface of the pedestal; a second block having an inclined plane that is inclined to the surface of the pedestal; a third block having an inclined plane that is inclined to the surface of the pedestal; a fourth block having an inclined plane that is inclined to the surface of the pedestal; and a connecting body that physically connects the first, second, third and fourth blocks. In the inertial force sensor, the first and second blocks are arranged side by side in a first direction parallel to the surface of the pedestal so that their inclined planes face each other inwardly or outwardly, and the third and fourth blocks are arranged side by side in a second direction parallel to the surface of the pedestal and orthogonal to the first direction, so that their inclined planes face each other inwardly or outwardly.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
