AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Conventional fastening methods for exterior wall panels require different fittings for right-side and left-side fixing, and cannot accommodate curved surfaces, limiting their applicability in constructing retaining walls made of embankment materials.

Method used

A fastening fitting with an engaging member and an L-shaped member that are rotatably connected, allowing for use on both right and left sides, and a joint fitting that enables pivoting for curved surfaces, using a horizontal and vertical pivot system.

Benefits of technology

Enables flexible fixing to either side of a support column and accommodation of curved surfaces, simplifying construction and enhancing adaptability in retaining wall construction.

Abstract

To provide a fastening metal fitting for an outer wall panel which does not need to be used differently depending on whether a fixing surface of a support pillar is a right side surface or a left side surface, and which is favorable when constructing a retaining wall of a banking material.SOLUTION: A fastening metal fitting comprises: an engagement member 21 engaged with a male tongue part 1A of an upper end surface of an outer wall panel 1; and an L-shaped member 22 fixed to a side surface of a support pillar 3. The engagement member 21 includes a substrate part 21a which opposes to a rear surface side of the outer wall panel 1, and which has an engagement piece 21b engaged with the male tongue part 1A of the upper end surface of the outer wall panel 1 from above. The L-shaped member 22 includes: a front surface plate 22a opposing to the substrate part 21a of the engagement member 21; and a side surface plate 22b folded at a right angle from one side edge toward a back surface side of the front surface plate 22a. The front surface plate 22a of the L-shaped member 22 and the substrate part 21a of the engagement member 21 are connected rotatably by a horizontal rotation shaft 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
