Abstract

To provide a power storage device and a method for manufacturing the same, capable of avoiding or reducing the generation of resin burrs of an insulating resin member, which is integrally molded with a current collecting terminal and a case member, on an outer peripheral edge of an external connection portion of the current collecting terminal.SOLUTION: A power storage device 10 includes: a case member 4 with a terminal insertion hole 41; a current collecting terminal 3 having a hole insertion portion 31 inserted in the terminal insertion hole and an external connection portion 32 placed on a surface side of the case member; and an insulating resin member 5 integrally molded with the current collecting terminal and the case member. The insulating resin member 5 includes an outer periphery side insulating resin portion 53 surrounding the outer peripheral edge of the external connection portion, and a back surface side insulating resin portion 51 connecting a back surface 321 of the external connection portion, the hole outer edge portion 411, the hole surrounding portion 412, and the hole insertion portion. The back surface side insulating resin portion is formed with a thinned portion 52 penetrating to a back surface of the external connection portion. The back surface of the external connection portion is formed with an annular band-shaped sealing portion SR along the outer edge portion 521 of the thinned portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
