This display device comprises: a plurality of light emitting elements each comprising a plurality of sub-pixels, an anode electrode, an organic layer, and a first cathode electrode, the anode electrode, the organic layer, and the first cathode electrode being separated among the plurality of sub-pixels; an element protection layer covering the first cathode electrode; a second cathode electrode provided on the element protection layer; and a connection part electrically connecting the second cathode electrode and the first cathode electrode. The connection part is formed along a side wall of the element protection layer.
