Abstract

An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a solution for video processing. A video processing method is proposed, the method including: receiving, at a first device, a metadata file from a second device; and determining a descriptor for a dataset in the metadata file, the presence of the descriptor indicating that a representation in the dataset is an External Stream Representation (ESR).
