Abstract

To eliminate outdoor light when generating a distance information signal.SOLUTION: In a pixel TAPA, a light detection circuit PA is connected between a low voltage end and a node NA1. A transmission circuit TA1 is connected between the node NA1 and a node NA2, and transmits a first charge generated from the light detection circuit PA to the node NA2 during a first time interval in which transmission light is radiated to a subject. A memory circuit CA is connected between the node NA2 and a node NA3. A connection circuit TA2 is connected between the node NA3 and a high voltage end, and electrically connects the high voltage end and the node NA3 during the first time interval. A transmission circuit TA3 is connected between the node NA3 and the node NA1, and transmits a second charge generated from the light detection circuit PA to the node NA3 during a second time interval in which the transmission light is not radiated to the subject. A connection circuit TA4 is connected between the node NA2 and the high voltage end, and electrically connects the high voltage end and the node NA2 during the second time interval.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
