Abstract

To suppress degradation of image quality due to dark current components in an image sensor.SOLUTION: A CPU reads temperature information of a data input unit, such as an image sensor. The CPU determines whether a temperature of an imaging surface is higher than a predetermined temperature, on the basis of, the read temperature information. When determining that the temperature of the imaging surface is not higher than the predetermined temperature, the CPU selects an unconstrained program diagram, or selects a constrained program diagram when a determination is made that the temperature of the imaging surface is higher than the predetermined temperature. The CPU reads region brightness information from a RAM, or the like, and determines exposure conditions for each region, in accordance with the selected program diagram, on the basis of, the read region brightness information of the region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
