To provide a decoration method that can enhance a design of a wall surface.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a decoration method of a wall surface, which includes a process of applying a top coat paint to the wall surface, in which the top coat paint consists of colored grains in liquid or gel form dispersed in an aqueous medium, and the colored grains consist of main colored grains or of the main colored grains and secondary colored grains whose brightness difference (absolute value of ▵L*) with the main colored grains is 10 or less, and at least one of the colored grains is transparent.SELECTED DRAWING: None
