Abstract

To provide an absorbent product for pets that can effectively suppress urine leakage even when urinating forcefully with high urine pressure. [Solution] The absorbent article 1 is an absorbent article used by being attached to a pet wearable item 100 that is worn around the body of a pet. The main body portion 2 of the absorbent article 1 has a surface sheet 3, a back sheet 4, an absorbent body 5 disposed between the surface sheet 3 and the back sheet 4, and a front leak-proof wall portion 20 configured such that the portion between a pair of fixing portions R1 provided on both sides in the body circumference direction D1 rises up with the front end portion E1 as the pivot point at the front end portion E1, which is at least one end of the main body portion 2 in the front-rear direction D2. The back sheet 4 has a liquid-impermeable film member. The film member includes a folded portion 41 that is folded back at the front end portion E1 towards the pet's skin side Z1 and constitutes at least a part of the front leak-proof wall portion 20.
