[Solution] A sewer pipe rehabilitation method in which a shield machine 10, which is the main body of the device, moves inside the existing sewer pipe 2 to rehabilitate the inner wall 2a of the sewer pipe 2, comprising: a sewer blocking step of blocking the sewer S on the front side in the direction of movement of the shield machine 10 to form a working space 9 on the rear side of the shield machine 10; a drainage step of draining the sewer S on the front side of the shield machine 10 to a location behind the working space 9 formed on the rear side of the shield machine 10; and a rehabilitation step of rehabilitating the inner wall 2a of the existing sewer pipe 2 within the working space 9 formed on the rear side of the shield machine 10.
