Abstract

To prevent a malfunction at an occurrence of a negative voltage caused by an inductive load, in a high-voltage integrated circuit that drives a bridge circuit.SOLUTION: A high-voltage integrated circuit (1) that on / off-drives bridge-connected switch elements, comprises: a control circuit (11) that generates a drive signal for on / off-driving the bridge-connected switch elements; a high-side driver (13) that on / off-drives a high-side switch element; two level shift circuits (20) that respectively transmit a set signal and a reset signal to be on-off signals to the high-side driver; and a negative voltage detection circuit (21) that detects a negative voltage at an output terminal of the bridge-connected switch elements. The negative voltage detection circuit (21) makes a level shift circuit that transmits the reset signal transmit a reset signal after detection of the negative voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
