Abstract

The present invention provides a clothes drying lift that can reduce the burden of housework without requiring a large atrium, and a building having the clothes drying lift. [Solution] The clothes drying lift 1 comprises a guide rail 3 having a vertical rail 30 and a horizontal rail 32 connected to a curved section 31, a plurality of moving sections 4 having a cart section 40 that can move along the guide rail 3 and a locking bar 42 on which a hanger hook can be hooked, a wire 5 that pulls the moving sections 4, a drive unit 6 that moves the wire 5, a gripping section 7 that detachably fixes the moving sections 4 to the wire 5, and a switching section 8 that can switch between a state in which the moving sections 4 are fixed to the wire 5 and a state in which they are released from the fixation, and the switching section 8 is provided on the horizontal rail 32, and when the gripping section 7 moving from the end of the horizontal rail 32 on the curved section 31 side toward the other end passes through the switching section 8, it releases the fixation of the gripping section 7 to the wire 5.
