Abstract

To provide an apparatus which bends a fan-shaped flat plate material to a taper tube in a truncated conical shape with an apex angle equal to or greater than 90°.SOLUTION: A roll bending apparatus comprises: two lower side rolls 12 which are arranged so as to be in parallel to each other at two apex positions of a base of a triangle and feed a fan-shaped flat plate material 30 in a peripheral direction of the fan with rotation; one upper side roll 13 which is arranged so as to be in parallel to the lower side roll at residual one apex position, whose base side is cantilevered, which sandwiches the fan-shaped flat plate material between the lower side roll and itself in such a state that the tip is aligned with a small diameter side tip of the fan-shaped flat plate material, and bends the fan-shaped flat plate material into a taper shape with the lower side roll; a positioning pin 21 which positions the small diameter side tip edge of the fan-shaped flat plate material such that the small diameter side tip edge of the fan-shaped flat plate material matches the tip of the upper side roll and guides feeding to the peripheral direction of the fan of the fan-shaped flat plate material; a pressure mechanism 14 which presses and holds a tip side of the upper side roll downward; and a drive device which rotationally drives the lower and upper side rolls.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
