To provide an LED illumination device and the like capable of inhibiting ends of a cover member in a width direction from being dark.SOLUTION: An LED illumination device comprises a substrate 11 on which an LED 12 is disposed, a frame 20 having a main plate part 21 to which the substrate 11 is attached, and a cover member 30 attached to the frame 20. The frame 20 has protruding parts 22 positioned at both sides of the main plate part 21 and protruding from the main plate part 21 toward a first direction side, and a side plate part 23 positioned outward of the protruding part 22 in the short direction of the frame 20 and extending to a second direction side. The protruding parts 22 have an inclined plate part inclined relative to the main plate part 21, and a parallel plate part located on the LED 12 side with respect to the inclined plate part and parallel to the main plate part 21.
