Abstract

To provide a new production method that produces a coupling compound for a carbazole and a diaryl amine.SOLUTION: A method for producing a coupling compound provided here includes bringing a reaction product of a compound A, which is a carbazole or a diaryl amine, with a Grignard reagent into contact with a gas including oxygen in the presence of an iron catalyst, thereby facilitating the progression of the coupling reaction of the compound A.SELECTED DRAWING: None
