Charging equipment and power supply and demand adjustment system

Abstract

To provide a charging device that stabilizes a power system, and capable of favorably replacing a storage battery for an electric vehicle, and a power supply / demand regulation system.SOLUTION: A charging device connected to a high-order system via a distribution line has: a plurality of storage batteries; a plurality of slots in each of which a storage battery is housed, and which receives system power from the high-order system to charge the storage battery; and a charge control circuit for controlling charging of the plurality of storage batteries. Some storage batteries among the plurality of storage batteries housed in the plurality of slots are used as storage batteries for power supply / demand regulation of a power system that includes power equipment connected to the distribution line. The charge control circuit restricts removal of the storage batteries for power supply / demand regulation of the power system, and enables removal and housing of the storage battery in the other slots.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
