Abstract

To make it possible to provide a clean step plate when getting on and off vehicle.SOLUTION: A washer nozzle 40 is configured so that an injection tip 42 is directed to a tread 12A of a step plate 12 which is in storage position. A step ECU 80 which is a control part determines whether or not cleaning liquid is injected. The determination is based on at least one side of the road surface conditions on the basis of operation setting of a wiper and an on-vehicle camera 66. Furthermore, the step ECU 80 injects the cleaning liquid from the washer nozzle 40 toward the tread 12A of the step plate 12 which is in storage position when it is determined that injection of the cleaning liquid is necessary and moreover, when it is determined that parking position is selected as shift position of a vehicle. The step ECU 80 moves the step plate 12 from the storage position to deployment position by driving an actuator 30 when a vehicle door in closed state is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
