Abstract

To provide a novel manufacturing method of a lithium-ion battery, capable of suppressing deterioration of a capacity in the case where a charging and discharging are repeatedly performed while suppressing deterioration of the capacity after an initial charging, and provide the lithium-ion battery.SOLUTION: A method of the present disclosure for manufacturing a lithium-ion battery, includes the steps of: providing a positive electrode precursor layer that contains at least a lithium alloy particle and a positive electrode active material; obtaining a lithium-ion battery precursor that includes the positive electrode precursor layer, a separator layer, and a negative electrode active material layer in this order, and into which an electrolyte is contained; and converting the positive electrode precursor layer into a positive electrode active material layer by performing an initial charging to the lithium-ion battery precursor. In the lithium alloy particle, a lithium alloy potential is 0.5 V (vs Li / Li+) or more, and is the lithium alloy particle of which a D90 measured by a laser diffraction and scattering method is smaller than 70 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
